Configuring Your Platform Essentials
Covers the essential configurations to personalize your platform, enable payments, and prepare your core AI offerings right after signing up.
Welcome aboard! Now that your Hyperfy account is active and your free trial has started, it's time to lay the foundation for your AI business. Before you start thinking about marketing, let's ensure your platform is properly configured, reflects your brand, and is ready to operate.
Follow these essential setup steps:
1. Brand Your Platform
First impressions count! Make sure the platform instantly looks and feels like your business.
- Navigate: Go to "Platform" -> "Customization" in the left-hand menu of your admin panel.
- Configure:
- Set your unique Platform Name.
- Upload your company Logo.
- Choose your brand's primary Accent Color.
- Write a clear and compelling Tagline and Description.
- Save: Don't forget to click the "Publish Platform" button to save all your changes!
- Need help with examples or more details? See the full guide in [Platform Features: Platform Customization](Link).
2. Enable Payments (Connect Stripe)
This step is crucial – you can't receive payments from your customers without it!
- Navigate: Go to the "Finance" section in the left-hand menu.
- Connect: Click the button to connect Stripe (it might say "Continue to Account Info" or "Add Information" if you haven't started).
- Onboard: Follow the secure prompts from Stripe. You'll need to either log in to an existing Stripe account or create a new one and provide your business and bank details. Complete their entire onboarding process.
- Why is this essential? This links your platform's subscription system to your bank account so you can receive your revenue share. See the detailed guide in [Features: Finance](Link).
3. Prepare Your Core AI Agents
Your AI agents are the service you're selling. Make sure you have valuable offerings ready.
- Navigate: Go to "Platform" -> "Agents".
- Review: Familiarize yourself with the default "Starter" and "Pre-built" agents available.
- Create: Click "+ Create agent" and build at least one unique "Exclusive" agent. This agent should solve a specific problem for your target audience – it's your unique selling proposition! Focus on writing clear Instructions (prompts).
- Test: Use the Preview feature (see next step) to test your new agent thoroughly and refine its instructions.
- Learn the details: Find tips and full instructions in [Platform Features: Platform Agents (Link).
4. Preview the End-User Experience
Always check how things look and work from your customer's point of view.
- Navigate: Go to "Platform" -> "Preview".
- Launch Demo: Click the "Open Demo" button.
- Check: In the new tab that opens, verify your branding (logo, colors, name). Click through the navigation (Home, Chats, Image Generator, Agents, Members). Most importantly, test your agents by having conversations with them in the "Chats" section.
- What should you look for? See the detailed checklist in [Platform Features: Platform Preview](Link).
5. Locate Your Sharing Links
You'll need these links soon to start getting customers.
- Navigate: Briefly visit "Platform" -> "Landing Page" and "Platform" -> "Checkout Link".
- Identify: Note where the URL is displayed and where the "Copy Link" button is for each. You don't need to share them yet, just know where to find them.
- Understand the difference: Learn more about these links in [Platform Features: Platform Checkout Link](Link).
Once you've gone through these five essential steps, your platform has its core configuration ready. It's branded, set up for payments, has an initial AI offering, and you know how to check the user experience and find your key links.
Now you're truly prepared for the next stage, covered in "[Next Step: Selling Your Platform]".
